For all of you out there dying to know, we did get a final word back from OzBus last Friday. They are NOT going ahead with the trip from London to Kathmandu and so will be sending us a refund.
So now we're on to Option C, which we are hoping will include Israel, Nepal, India, Laos, and Thailand over a combined 7-9 weeks.
The good news is that I've set an end date at work of 7th June as my last full day. Though I'll still have a meeting in London to go to on 8th June, and likely will have to pop in for a day or two mid June for final handovers.
So now we just need to decide where to go, work out tour guides, work out an itinerary, make reservations, organise work leaving drinks, find a shipping company, pack up the house, sell or donate what we aren't shipping home, have the movers pick up our stuff, organise and host a leaving party, ship our laptops home, then get ready to head out of town......
Should be a piece of cake, right?
